The Bavarian contingent of Napoleons 1812 Grand Army have always excited me from a painters point of view. Their distinctive helmets and cornflower blue uniforms. I am working my way through painting the entire Bavarian contingent of Napoleons 1812 Grand Army.
These figures are Front Rank and represent the Bavarian 8th Herzog Pius Infantry regiment, They are based on 50mm x 50mm 3mm wooden bases. The flags are by GMB Designs. The 8th were part of 29th Corps, under GeneralMajor Beckers Brigade which was composed of:
